The Chicago Therapy Collective relies on community partnerships to successfully pull of its projects and events. The Andersonville Galleria has been a critical partner for the Trans Art Is project and we are so grateful for their support through this series.

Trans Art Is holds its exhibits pop-up gallery style in the “artist’s loft” on the second floor of the Andersonville Galleria. The Andersonville Galleria, in the heart of the thriving Andersonville retail corridor, is a retail market building that currently features over 100 vendors offering apparel, jewelry, artwork, home furnishings, giftware, accessories, antiques, fair trade, and gourmet treats.

Accessibility: There is an elevator (that moves very slowly) in the back of the Galleria that can bring visitors up the two flights of stairs. However, the Trans Art Is exhibit is raised above the second floor by a five step staircase.  Unfortunately, a wheel chair accessible ramp cannot be installed in the space due to square footage limitations. We do sincerely apologize for the barrier this may cause some and encourage any folks interested in accessing this space via wheelchair or walker to contact us.
