We are seeking a passionate pet lover and community-minded customer service professional to join our busy and rapidly expanding doggy daycare, boarding, and grooming facility in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago.

This is a FULL TIME position.

Once training is complete, you will work the following set schedule:

Monday: 11am – 7pm

Tuesday: 11am – 7pm

Wednesday: 11am – 7pm

THURSDAY/FRIDAY: OFF

Saturday: 8am – 5pm

Sunday: 10am – 5pm

The compensation is $17/hour, with the possibility of a raise after 90 days.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional, customer-focused service to Bark Bark Club clients.

  • Sell services, additional services, and retail products.

  • Schedule appointments based on specific service time requirements.

  • Check clients in and out according to Bark Bark Club processes.

  • Answer incoming calls in a professional and organized manner.

  • Communicate current and ongoing promotional programs, services, and packages to clients by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of all service and retail offerings.

  • Maintain updated client information consistently.

  • Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.

  • Actively participate in promoting Bark Bark Club services and products.

  • Responsible for opening and closing duties, following Bark Bark Club protocols, including cash drawer and closeout responsibilities.

  • Customer service experience is a must.

  • Attention to every detail and a passion for understanding your clients.

  • Passionate about providing flawless customer service.

  • Able to communicate effectively with clients, management, and staff.

  • Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun and fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

  • Basic understanding of dog behavior.
