Highly talented, hardworking, and creative transgender workers are fired, not hired, demoted, or made stagnant due to anti-trans hiring stigma and employment discrimination. Economic instability is among the greatest vulnerabilities of trans community members and failing to respond by allowing anti-trans hiring stigma and employment discrimination to continue leaves trans community members at much higher risk of violence.
