Responsibilities:

The job duties depend on the role assigned for the day.

Dishwasher duties:

• Ensure the dishwashing machine is on and in proper order (and all the appropriate chemicals used for each load).  Load and operate the dishwashing machine to clean plateware, flatware, and glassware.

• Ensure the 3-compartment sink is properly set up.  Clean pots, pans, and other cookwares in the 3-compartment sink.

• Return cleaned items to their designated areas for drying or storage.

• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including trash disposal

• Follow and maintain safety protocols

Busser duties:

• Run foods from the kitchen to customers in the dining room or patio

• Maintain cleanliness of the restrooms

• Help clear out tables and bus dishes back to the dishwashing area

• Support waitstaffs with basic customer communication / service requests

Skills & Requirements:

• Must look neat and clean for food service.

• Comfortable working in a fast paced and high energy environment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, and a sense of urgency when approaching tasks.

• Able to take constructive criticism, learn quickly, and constantly improve.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands for this position are being able to stand for at least 8 hours,

 walk up and down stairs, seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Compensation:

Wage depends on the role assigned for the day

• Dishwasher: $18/hr

• Busser: $15/hr + tip (pooled)
